Federalism Still Alive? NH For Secession?

All talk?

The New Hampshire state legislature continued definition Monday February 3, of HCR 6 "designed to specify under which conditions the state may secede from the federation of the United States of America." The outline of the bill is seen here.

The Granite State has made a habit of proclaiming it's state motto "Live Free Or Die" every ten years ago which has amounted to just talk. However, it is interesting to see this proclamation of our nation's founding federalist principles, at a time of unprecedented Federal Governmental intervention. In the day of our forefathers, the federal government's primary concern was national security, and in just over two centuries it has become Social Security. Any person remotely familiar with the federal powers vested in the Constitution understands that there is no authority to force a citizen of the state of New Hampshire to contribute tax revenue for a citizen in California, or any other state for that matter...
